AUSLAN

One of the most valued traits in potential employees today is the ability to communicate in this highly diverse community. Auslan, or Australian sign language, is used in various communities, such as those who are deaf, hard of hearing, and those who are unable to communicate verbally.

Learning Auslan at FCH

The Community House wants to help the people of Flowerdale put their best foot forward in the professional world, so we are offering a program teaching Auslan to anyone who is seeking to advance their skill set.

The course is $90 for 6 weeks of classes that will run on Monday 5pm-7pm (subject to change). Booking is required. Contact the house at 5780-2644 for more information.
