Weekly Program Overview
Welcome to our regular program schedule! Here you can find all the fantastic ongoing activities that happen each week and month at Flowerdale Community House. Browse by day to discover a new hobby, join a social group, or find support. Please note that some programs may not run on public holidays.
Monday (Monthly)
1st Monday of each Month, 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Kids Club
This is a parent-run group for kids from Kinder age to 11 years old. Parents run activities such as Nerf wars, painting Lego, and much more. It’s a great chance for your young ones to play together and meet local families.
Cost: FREE
2nd Monday of each Month, 10:30AM till when-ever
Ladies Lounge Women Only Group
This group is aimed at women who live alone or are otherwise isolated and what to develop friendships with like minded women. This group is in the beginning of development and you can be part of growing it to be what you would like to see.
Cost: FREE
Tuesday
Weekly on Tuesdays, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Quilters and Crafters Group
Bring your quilting, sewing, or needlepoint project and work on it in a friendly, relaxed environment. The ladies are ready to help with any issues you may have to get your project underway. Enjoy good conversation and yummy snacks while you work.
Cost: $5 per week
Booking: No booking required, just pop in and meet them at the house.
Wednesday
Weekly on Wednesdays, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM approximately
Bus Errands to Seymour
Bring your quilting, sewing, or needlepoint project and work on it in a friendly, relaxed environment. The ladies are ready to help with any issues you may have to get your project underway. Enjoy good conversation and yummy snacks while you work.
Cost: FREE

Weekly on Wednesdays, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Facilitated Playgroup
Join Jess for our community-funded FREE playgroup. Learn and develop through informal play activities and social interaction. Playgroup helps families have fun, relax, and build friendships in an open, welcoming, and friendly environment for all children and their families.
Cost: $2 per session
Thursday
Weekly on Thursdays, 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Lunch Group
This group is perfect for those who are isolated and wanting to dip their toe into a gentle social occasion. Each week our Master Chef makes a hot, healthy meal for you to enjoy. We serve around midday, but you can come in early for a cuppa and a chat.
Cost: $5 per week
Monthly on Thursdays, 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Social Group and Meetings
A wonderful opportunity to catch up with like-minded people, share ideas, and go on outings to shows, markets, and Op Shop tours. Each month the group goes on our community bus wherever they have planned. Come enjoy a cuppa or lunch and help us plan the monthly outings.
Cost: Varies depending on the planned outing.
Friday
1st Friday of each month
CONNECT LBGTQIA+ - Social Group
A supportive and welcoming social group for those over 18 who identify as LBGTQIA+ and want to connect and chat with others. All are welcome. The group meets at various locations including the Flowerdale Community House and outside venues.
Cost: FREE, unless going to a public venue.

Every few months, 7:00 PM on a date to be decided. Check the Flowerdale Community House Facebook page for the next one.
Paint and Sip with Di Harris Art
Come and paint a masterpiece under the fun direction of Di and take home your amazing canvas art work.
Cost: $45 per person
Notes: BYO Drink and Nibbles.
