Community Support Services

Food Bank / Food Share

Emergency food hampers and essential sanitary products are available at the House for anyone having trouble putting food on the table or struggling in any way. This is a confidential service – all you need to do is come in during open hours and ask our friendly staff.

Available during open hours. Confidential.

FREE Shower

We have a clean, private shower with hot running water ready to be used. If your water has run out, you’re travelling through, or you’re simply in need of a hot wash, you are welcome here. Towels and basic toiletries can be provided.

Available during open hours. Please call ahead if you require a time outside of our standard hours and we will do our best to arrange it for you.

Public Access Computers, Printing & WIFI

Need to get online, check emails, or print documents? We provide free WIFI and have a public access computer available for use. We also have a multifunction machine for scanning, copying, and printing. We are happy to cover the costs of small, low-cost printing and laminating jobs.

The Community house offers low cost printing and copying (50c for black and white per page/ 80c colour per page) and (Laminating $1.50 each per page).

Book Share / Community Library

Visit our quiet room and browse our Book Share, which is full of a wide variety of books generously donated by the community. If you find a book you’d love to read, please feel free to take it. We encourage you to swap it for another book if you can, to keep our little library buzzing with new additions!

Our staff can provide confidential support and connect you with professional services and not-for-profit organisations that can assist you. Main Hall

Our Main Hall is ideal for large gatherings, accommodating up to 80 people. Equipped with a projector, screen, and sound system, it’s perfect for workshops, conferences, and celebrations.

Meeting Room

This intimate space is perfect for small meetings and interviews, comfortably seating 10-12 people. It includes a whiteboard and access to kitchenette facilities.

Community Kitchen

Our fully-equipped kitchen is available for cooking classes and catering needs. It features modern appliances and ample workspace.

Outdoor Area

The outdoor area is perfect for community events and gatherings, offering a serene environment with seating and shade.

Workshop Room

Designed for creative sessions, this room includes tables, chairs, and a sink, making it ideal for art and craft workshops.

Quiet Room

A peaceful space for meditation or small group discussions, equipped with comfortable seating and soft lighting.

Affordable Rates for Every Occasion

Room Hire Pricing & Policies

Our competitive hire rates ensure accessibility for all. The Main Hall is available at $50 per hour, with discounts for community groups. Meeting Room 1 is offered at $25 per hour. The Community Kitchen can be hired for $30 per hour. We offer half-day and full-day packages at reduced rates. Availability is updated weekly, and bookings can be made up to six months in advance. Please review our terms and conditions for details on cleaning responsibilities and insurance requirements.

To secure your booking, a deposit is required. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid charges. Our spaces are available seven days a week, with flexible hours to suit your needs. For detailed terms and conditions, please contact our office or visit our website.
